Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Welp, yelp, where do I start? First off, service was not even exceptional. We were brought to our table where we ordered the guacamole, which we were told was made table side. Didn't happen. We waited about 20 minutes for our water and guacamole, and then another 20 minutes for one margarita. Food=disgusting. It you're looking to raise your blood pressure above the bar, this is the place for you!!! SALT SALT AND MORE SALT! Oh, I forgot to mention that this place is also only for AARP members. If you're below the age of 55 and not into karaoke, steer clear. What a dump this place has become. They actually used to be a kind of cool hang out, but now......WOW. I really wish I didn't have to give this place even 1 star to post this.

Drinks were good but I had a taco salad and the sour cream was old and curded. Chicken was undercooked Need less to say the horrible taste of old sour cream killed my appetite. Service was sub-par

Food was not very good, brought out cold, and service was also not great. Definitely not worth the money.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. Happy hour drinks and food are a great deal and the atmosphere is nice as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy salsa and even the guacamole (even though I normally do not...) and my cheap beers. They have a lot of types of tequila as well and red and white sangria. I was happy about my experience here. Not too sure where these bad reviews come from.

Well can't speak for the restaurant but the outside deck is awesome. Incredible happy hour from 3 to 6 and I had the calamari for $5 and it was very good. Sangria was 1/2 price and dos Equis as well. Great view excellent service. Got to watch the boats come in with their fresh catch as well great time!!!!!

The avocado margarita is life changing, the happy hour specials are amazing, and the view is unbeatable. Plus, our server, Shae, was great. We ate here twice during our trip and will for sure return!

We tried this place and we really liked it. The view from the dining room is amazing. While we didn't actually eat any Mexican entrees, their shrimp basket was very fresh and delicious. We had guacamole that was made fresh at our table which is easily the best guacamole I have ever had. And the cocktail sauce it very unique, with cilantro and a bit of a spice in it. It's very good. Waitress was busy, but good. Worth another visit for sure.

If you are looking for fajitas this is the place. Probably the best combo fajitas i have ever had. I go here often and get the shrimp, steak and chicken combo. Generous portions also. I haven't really tried much of anything else however the queso dip is also very good. If you like Mexican it is worth checking it out.

The food quality is poor!! Flavorless, bland, not properly cooked!

The best thing I can say is it is on the water. We got better tasting, better priced food everywhere else we ate this weekend! Don't waste your time!

Our waiter was Mike and his recommendation of the La Perfecta Margarita to the Baja Shrimp was great. My husband got the Mojo Grouper and he was equally pleased. Sat outside and watched the boats come in. Would highly recommend!

Two stars are for the Guac, drinks and view, so if your going for happy hour beverages, then by all means go. The food was nearly inedible. I had Mole Chicken that was two breasts the consistency of shoe leather with a small smear of mole sauce on top. My wife had chicken tacos that she only took one bite of before pushing away.

The bar service is very good and fast. Food service is way too slow. While the place was not even half full we had to wait thirty minutes for a table. Once the orders were placed we waited another forty five minutes for our food which was mostly bland and unexciting. Not recommended.

Beautiful view, 150 tequilas to choose from, great food, and a family atmosphere which we enjoyed on the outdoor deck. We are locals and will continue to enjoy MC. Try the Cadillac Margarita!

Strange place. Hostess went missing for a while and people were piling up in the remotely located lobby waiting to be seated in the fairly empty restaurant. One person went in to see if we were all waiting in the wrong place and he was directed back to the lobby to wait again. The restaurant view is beautiful and the person that took the order was friendly. Unfortunately, a bunch of different people were running food to tables so we did not see the waiter again until the end of the meal. About halfway into the meal someone began to play some 70's elevator music and some of the restaurant patrons were getting up to sing. It was definitely not cantina music and these were not professional singers. Some were pretty good but I was expecting a relatively peaceful Mexican meal not a karaoke party with Granny. I could look past all of this if the food was good. The house wine was old and tasted like vinegar. I'm not a wine novice or a wine snob but I know what wine tastes like when the bottle is starting to turn. There were free chips and salsa for the table like most Mexican restaurants. Of the 2 types of salsa one had that weird, fizzy, off taste that salsa gets when it goes bad. The other one was really good. The salsa was complementary with the chips and, in my opinion, was the best part of the meal. The food was overpriced. Portions were small. Quality was not great. Pretty greasy overall. Wish I had time to read the other reviews before making this choice.
